Harish Ludhani promoted to General Manager Sales

From 1st May 2013 Mr. Harish Ludhani has been promoted to "General Manager Sales". Harish will be operating from DIRK's Mumbai office. Harish joined the Dirk organisation in 2006 as Sales Officer.

No sooner than later his experience in sales management as well as his team building abilities was obvious.

During his first two years Harish worked closely with Javed Shaikh, the previous General Manager – technical Sales, and was instrumental in boosting sales. He also spearheaded the streamlining of operations and logistics, for enhancing service levels.

Harish holds a Masters Degree in Commerce from the University of Kanpur. After his studies he joined Coca-Cola, the beverage giant and was exposed to important projects of Marketing and Sales.

On introducing Harish to his new position, Mr. Georg Dirk (chairman Dirk Group) said: "The Company has once again set an example of grooming in-house talents and motivating them to take up higher roles and responsibilities, by promoting Harish to the elevated position."

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), India, became the Nobel Peace Prize laureate together with the former American Vice President Al Gore for laying foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract climate changes. This panel in collaboration with TERI (Tata Energy and Resources Institute) issued in 2006 a book containing 25 best projects for corporate environmental responsibility in India - the DIRK Pozzocrete plant at Nashik was selected as one of those twenty five project.
