First two full-scale part-stream ultrasound installations for Japan delivered.

July 02, 2003

Dirk Group Holdings Ltd, the global sales company for IWE.tec, is pleased to announce the delivery of the first two full-scale part-stream ultrasound plants in Japan. Two years ago, EBARA corp signed an agreement to become the licence holder for IWEtecs part-stream ultrasound technology in Japan. Since then, EBARA corp has had to go through a complex approval process in order to introduce the technology to the Japanese market. Part of this process involved the use of a demonstration pilot plant. The approval period ended in March 2003, and subsequently two plants have been ordered for Matsumoto and Arai Cities. The plants will have completed the commissioning period by early autumn.

This now brings the total number of permanent installations of IWEtecs part-stream ultrasound process world wide to 19. A further 6 plants will be installed by the end of the year, proving that the part-stream ultrasound process is fast becoming the standard technology of choice for Waste Water and sludge treatment companies.
