New BULKtainer transport system developed and introduced by DIRK India

March 22, 2010

Transport by rail (being the most environmentally friendly land transport facility) is difficult without a functioning rail/road interface. POZZOCRETE demand in long distances from its processing plant (s) is increasing. To reduce transport cost to customers DIRK developed a containerized bulk system which will travel long distance on rail and short distance on road. Each 20 " BULKtainer has a 20 ts payload.

In line with DIRK India's expansion into a few more POZZOCRETE installations at different power stations in India, DIRK developed its BULKtainer system to allow uninterrupted supply of large infastructure projects, even if if one or the other powerstation is not producing raw PFA for processing this system will allow replacement supplies at reasonable cost. The units serve as well as additional storage buffer for POZZOCRETE products ready for immediate dispatch.

After the test units have shown excellent performance, DIRK GROUP will invest in approx. 250 units to solve the logistic problems of some major  new infrastructure projects.
