On 26th August 2005 the chairman of DIRK GROUP married Dr. Ivana Lukacovicova at the catholic St. Thomas Church in Prague, Czech Republic. The ceremony was attended by their children, the families, friends and delegations from the various DIRK Group organisations, business friends and was followed by a wedding reception at the Pallfy Palace in the historic centre of Prague. Mr. Dirk and his wife have asked the web-page editors to express their thanks to all well-wishers and friends for their blessings.
On welcoming the international congregation Father William Faix, O&A, explained that the historic St. Thomas Church was the traditional wedding church of the emperors of the Habsburg monarchy and well suited for the event.
The wedding ceremony was attended by delegations from the international DIRK Group operations. The traditional collection after the wedding service was donated to the National Institute of the Blind, Nashik, India. Mr. Dirk and Dr. Ivana Dirk-Lukacovicova invited families and friends to a wedding reception at Pallfy Palace in the centre of the centre of the lesser town of Prague.
