The third Delhi Airport runway, 4,430 metres long, became operational with the landing of a British Airways plane from Heathrow at 6.20 am," a Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) spokesperson said. The concrete runway has been constructed on the basis of POZZOCRETE 83 (Dirk's top range Fly Ash product). POZZOCRETE 83 was supplied form the North India directorate of DIRK India.

The runway is among the longest in Asia and is equipped with CAT IIIB instrument landing system. To achieve maximum durability of this new runway L+T selected DIRK POZZOCRETE 83, a superfine Fly Ash product. POZZOCRETE 83 is used to achieve high strength in concrete. |
