Nitin Gadkari (Leader of the opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Council) visited the POZZOCRETE plant at Nashik

July 25, 2006

Mr. Nitin Gadkari, senior BJP leader and former Minister of Public Works in Maharashtra, visited together with colleagues from BJP and Sena the Nashik Fly Ash Recycling plant on 24th July to gain more practical insight into the requirements of DIRK INDIA Private Ltd to further increase the output of processed fly ash from the Nashik Thermal Power Station.

Nitin Gadkari showed great interest in this project for quite some time as it is providing a quality enhancing component for concrete and is reducing the production cost for concrete by currently nearly 20%. India is in great demand for rapid investment in infrastructure and the state sector consumes more than 40% of all concrete produced. Consequently, there is a large potential for saving public expenditure.

Structures of great stability and long lasting durability can only be achieved with processed and quality verified fly ash products, like POZZOCRETE. In his meeting with the Chief General Manager of Nashik Thermal Power Station, Mr. Gadkari insisted that any hindrance to further increase of the output of quality assured fly ash needs to be removed.

His comment into the visitors' guest book: Good and outstanding. Very useful as far as environment is concerned.
