From 1st December 2007 Mr. Javed Shaikh had been promoted to "General Manager Technical Sales". Javed will be operating from DIRK's Nashik Headquarter office. Javed joint the Dirk organisation in May 2005 as Sales Engineer. Very shortly his technical experience as concrete engineer was obvious as well as his team building abilities.
During his first two years Javed worked closely with Mukund Joshi, the previous Director Product Technology. Javed holds a Bachelor Degree in Construction Engineering from the University of Mumbai. After his studies he joint Dyckerhoff & Widman AG, the German civil engineering giant and was exposed to important projects of DYWIDAG in India, like the Bandra Collector Tunnels as well as the tendering process for the Hyderabad Internatiional Airport project.
Javed is a keen cricket player, married and a proud father.
On introducing Javed to his new position, Mr. Dirk (chairman Dirk Group) said: "It has been company policy since our Group was founded nearly 40 years ago to nurse and groom in house talents and encourage them to take up new responsibilities, basically to grow with the work. By promoting Javed to this elevated position I would like to set a sign and encourage other members of staff to strive for a career inside our Group."
