Have it demonstrated at Your site: AMBUJA HiRise Cement improves plaster yield by + 30%

March 12, 2014

Plastering is an important part of Construction activity nearly 20-25% of cement is consumed in this application. Normal Pozzolan Portland Cement (PPC) makes mortar in range of 1:4 to 1:5 proportions by weight meaning for one 50kg bag of PPC you can use 200-250 kg sand to produce mortar of enough plasticity to make it adhere to surface after application on walls or RCC surface. By using Ambuja HiRise Cement one can make mortar in proportion of 1:6 to 1:7 i:e 300-370Kg. In spite of this a nice rich and cohesive mix as compared to other PPC's is achieved.

Observations:-

1)    It was noticed that 1 Kg of normal Pozzolan Portland Cement can make mortar with 4 to5 Kg of Sand where as each Kilogram of AMBUJA HiRise Cement can make mortar with 6-7.5 Kg Sand (1:7.28).

2)   The surface finish of plaster made with AMBUJA HiRise Cement is superior than normal cement plaster.

3)   Dry mix mortar was not required additionally for improving finishing which is normally the case with other cements.

Conclusions:-

1)    From above observations it can be concluded that AMBUJA HiRise Cement produces 1.5 times more mortar than normal cement.

2)   The mortar produced with AMBUJA HiRise Cewment is rich in appearance and very cohesive resulting in to  lesser rebound losses as compared to other cements.

3)   The surface finish with AMBUJA HiRise Cement is superior to surfaces produced with normal cement plaster.
