DIRK India joint sponsor of the Nashik Run 2009

January 11, 2009

The "Nashik Run" was initiated by the select set of corporate houses to help the needy and underprivileged and to promote the awareness of health and fitness in and around the city of Nashik.DIRK India is sponsoring this social event since years. This year (2009) around 15.000 runners participated and supported the event by purchasing the Nashik Run T-shirt.

The Nashik Run is organized as a trust. All activities are carried out without any expense to the trust by members of the sponsoring companies. The trust does not provide any cash but provides, controlled by its members, practical installations for social institutions in the Nashik District. The trust is funding the new ambulance service  by providing not only fully equipped ambulance vehicles, but also contributes to the cost of running this life saving service.

DIRK India is taking part in the selection of the projects to be carried out.
