Reflecting the strong increase in demand for classified POZZOCRETE, DIRK India decided to install a 3rd plant inside the Nashik POZZOCRETE plant. The additional capacity of the new plant will be consumed by the requirements of a new RCC (Roller Compacted Concrete) dam project which will consume on average 500 ts of POZZOCRETE 40 per day for a period of three seasonal years.
Additionally the new installation will provide a back-up to stabilize supplies - even if one of the plants needs maintenance or overhaul - on a higher level. The plant will also have a new big-bag debagging station although it is expected by DIRK that the current Arbitration proceedings between DIRK and MAHAGENCO will result in mechanical supply of raw fly ash to DIRK's silos.
RCC dam projects require a reliable uninterrupted supply of a precisely defined fly ash product. This will consume processing capacity on top of the ample available handling capacity.
On completion of the project the Nashik POZZOPCRETE plant is prepared for a processing capacity of 3000ts/day. The project will be completed by February 2010.
