In September 2000 BioGenesis Enterprises (US) awarded Dirk European Holdings Limited a contract for the supply, design, installation and commissioning of a 70m3/h mobile dewatering unit at an NKK-site in Yokohama, Japan.
The unit was designed by Dirk European Holdings Ltd. to dewater contaminated wash water from soil washing. Clean soil is discharged and the centrate is forwarded for final treatment.
By installing this process, considerable savings are made in disposal costs, as the volume of special waste produced, which has to go to landfill, is greatly decreased.
