Dirk India Private Limited has installed, at its Nashik ash recycling facility, a special processing unit for Cenospheres harvested as floaters from Indian fly ash lagoons. The plant has a processing capacity of 4000 ts/year. This is in line with DIRK's strategy not only to export raw materials but to add value to the raw material in the country of origin.
To transfer technical application know-how to the end-user of process enhanced cenospheres Dr. Markus Rutherford has joined the technical sales team of DIRK for filler products.
Dr. Rutherford graduated at Liverpool University, England as Chemist and gained special experience in the handling of industrial waste streams.
