DIRK India supports the Rickshaw Run 2010 helping the underpriveleged in India

February 14, 2010

By end of March a group of enthusiasts have organized a rickshaw rally starting from Cochin, Kerala and ending in Gantok, Sikkim. The aim of this run is to accumulate funds to help the charity organizations MercyCorps and Frank Water Projects to fund their initiatives in helping the underprivileged and disaster struck in various countries.

Georg Dirk jun. and one of his friends are devoting their yearly holiday from work to participate in this run and demonstrate that they love to connect to Indian population.

DIRK India is sponsoring our team participating in the 2010 Rickshaw run. Please have a look at the web-page of the POZZOCRETE TEAM:

The web-page allows you to contribute with any type of donation to help these important charity organizations.

Once the rally starts we will report in the news section of our web-page about the struggle the POZZOCRETE TEAM will have to master the 2800 km journey.

We at DIRK India feel it is important to be involved in activities highlighting our corporate social responsibility. This is why we sponsor this event, as well as the yearly Nashik Run  which is an initiative of the important corporate houses in Nashik concentrating on social work in the Nashik district.

Our Team started on 27th March 2010 at Cochin and reached Gantok in Sikkim on 9th April after gruelling 2800 km in scorching heat

Congratulations: the passed as number 17 the Ganyol Finish Line and contributed very much to enhance DIRK India's social responsibility.
