On 1st February 2006 Dirk India Private Limited appointed A. R. Al Amin Industries, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, as their distributor for the area of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Al Amin is a household name for efficient product distribution in Bahrain. Mr. Rashid Ali Al-Amin (managing director) of Al Amin Industries announced that they will provide POZZOCRETRE from their Bahrain depot to local customers together with profound advise on the utilisation of POZZOCRETE as a concrete quality improver. He said: We have undertaken to erect in a very short period a bulk supply station for POZZOCRETE to allow supply in silo tankers (bulkers) to our customers.
The contract was negotiated in January 2006 in Manama, Bahrain and agreed very shortly after. Al Amin Industries continues to supply the customers DIRK had already established during the previous years in Bahrain and will now start marketing POZZOCRETE in Saudi Arabia using their existing Saudi network.
A supply depot in Saudi Arabia will be ready very soon which will handle supply in 1 ton big bags as well as in bulk via silo tankers. This will remove the handling problems of fly ash big bags on customer sites.
