DIRK India staff will participate in Nashik Run 2006 (in aide of social cause)

January 04, 2006

The "Nashik Run" was initiated by the select set of corporate houses to help the needy and underprivileged and to promote the awareness of health and fitness in and around the city of Nashik. The annual Nashik Run will take place on 14th January 2006. The sports event generates a considerable income for the Nashik Charitable Trust and allows the support of a large number of charitable projects in the Nashik District. Dirk India is supporting this initiative.

Like many other industries in Nashik, DIRK India wants to contribute to charitable activities in Nashik. By forming the Nashik Run Chartibale Trust a platform was found to synergize individual initiatives on the basis of appropriate information and careful utilization of funds.

The total contributions are only utilized for social causes by carefully identifying the projects. All projects are excecuted at cost and without any administrative expenses.

Georg Dirk: "I am very happy that we are not only able to improve the environmental situation in Nashik and Maharashtra but also the situation of the underprivileged in the hometown of POZZOCRETE".
