Dirk India increased its laboratory facility space by 100%, relocating it into a new state of the art building. New equipment assisting the research in - and the product development of fly ash products has been added. The results are showing up with two new products now in production and accepted by the industry: DIRKsand and POZZOtar.
The new laboratory building houses in separate rooms a general chemical laboratory, a general physical laboratory, a concrete laboratory and a research division as well as a test recording office and general staff facilities. New test equipment (like RCTP testing device) and others have been added to allow in depth investigation into new applications for fly ash.
The RD Laboratory forms part of the Maharashtra Fly Ash Information Center complex which was enlarged by a new lecture hall at the same time to cater for the increasing numbers in students participating in the regular courses held at the center.
