Nashik Run 2014 a great success

January 12, 2014

More than 22.000 people participated in the Nashik Run organized by the Nashik Run Charitable Trust since 10 years. Dirk India had been contributing to this important local event since its interception and considered this to be their largest CSR project in Nashik. This year's support was provided by Mr. Georg Dirk personally as a "THANK YOU" for making him and his wife Ivana so much welcomed in the Nashik Society.

The combination of fitness and CSR is the one of the unique features of the Nashik Run. A day of joy, care and togetherness is the Nashik Run... Coming together for common social cause is Nashik Run...

The Mahatma Nagar ground was a sea of around 22000 people in bright yellow Nashik Run Tshirts... the colour of 2014 and as the Nashik Run commenced, the 5 km stretch seemed like a red wave going forward to spread the message of fitness and humanity across the city.

The solidarity and generosity was strikingly visible on the backdrop of the stage and the various lucky draw prizes sponsored. The beneficiaries of the Nashik Run were also seen participating in the Run.

The participation of people from all walks of life can be attributed as the key success factor of the Nashik Run. As also the support of the Government machinery has been instrumental in conducting the Run year on year. The unique point of this event is that there are no administrative costs incurred and the entire funds are utilised for the upbringing of the actual beneficiaries at costs & for long lasting projects.

The Nashik Run event has set a perfect example to this City about the initiative and importance of social responsibility that the Corporates undertake.
