On 29th April 2006 the new classification plant to produce POZZOCRETE was officially started by Ms Helen Deas , British Deputy High Commission in the presence of the honorable Major of the town of Nashik and other dignities from India an abroad.
Mr. Georg Dirk chairman of DIRK GROUP thanked the 150 strong workforce and the management who gathered in front of the plant accompanied by the tunes of the Army Music Corps of Nashik for their efforts and determination in finishing the plant.
Before Ms. Helen Deas pressed the start button Mr. Dirk asked workers, management and the 170 guests of the event to bow their heads for GODS blessing for the safety, welfare and prosperity of all people of whatever nation, religion and origin who work or visit the plant.
The chief guest, Mr.Karandikar, stressed the satisfaction of the Bank of Maharashtra to have supported this project which he stated to be economically viable, environmentally desired, a showpiece for the fly ash industry in India and beneficial to the construction industry in India and abroad.
