Quality Assured Fly Ash? For What?
Coal Mill and Boiler Conditions
Quality of the unprocessed fly ash fluctuates with the changes in the coal mill and boiler conditions. The behaviour of concrete using this Fly Ash as partial cement replacement is adversely affected by these unstable properties. On the other hand, POZZOCRETE undergoes strict quality control and provides Fly Ash with consistent and predictable properties.Low Standard Deviation
The first phase of this POZZOCRETE processing plan was commissioned in February 2001. Since its inception – for last 4 years, it has been subjected to rigorous quality control system. This positively reflects in the low standard deviation over the entire 4 year period for various physical and chemical parameters. These parameters are tested at the predetermined frequency of testing in the ISI mark certified Dirk Laboratory situated in the plant.
It Sounds Great but How Do We Ensure it?
DIRK POZZOCRETE is the first and only fly ash product in India which has been certified by the prestigious ISI Standard Kite Mark. This means that, not only the end product, but also the entire process of manufacturing of Pozzocrete is thoroughly scrutinised by the Bureau of Indian Standards – not once but continuously, randomly!
The Nashik Pozzocrete processing plant is the only fly ash processing plant in India which has been certified by ISO 9001:2000.

What Next?
Dirk India has recently bagged the order to supply Pozzocrete to the tallest building of the world being constructed at Dubai! This building – called Burj – Al – Dubai will be 800 metres tall and will be built using Pozzocrete from Nashik plant.
