Fly Ash: problems and solutions: "From Grey Ash to Green World"

DIRK India recently commissioned a film about its activities in recycling the fly ash from Nashik Thermal Power Station. The work was carried out by the well known environmentalist film director Yogesh Kulkarni. The film can be obtained from the DIRK India office, Nashik against payment of 1500 IR for Indian recipients or 15 USD for international recipients plus postage.

A second  film "Understanding Fly Ash and Pozzocrete" has been produced to provide more in depth information regarding the physical actions and chemical reactions of POZZOCRETE when used to make structural concrete.

 

Both films can be obtained in a double DVD pouch at a cost of 3500 IRs for Indian recipients and 35 UDS for international recipients plus postage.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), India, became the Nobel Peace Prize laureate together with the former American Vice President Al Gore for laying foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract climate changes. This panel in collaboration with TERI (Tata Energy and Resources Institute) issued in 2006 a book containing 25 best projects for corporate environmental responsibility in India - the DIRK Pozzocrete plant at Nashik was selected as one of those twenty five project.
