POZZOCRETE 63 for the construction of 'India Tower' and Lodha's World One Tower, Mumbai

India Tower, a project of DB Reality will become the tallest structure in India. To guarantee the safety of the concrete structure which is designed to contain processed Fly Ash to increase durability and strength of the concrete, Larsen + Toubro, entrusted with the construction, decided to use 19,000 ts of ISI marked POZZOCRETE 63 in this project. Supply to the project started in August 2010.   At the same time DIRK was awarded supply to Lodha's World One Tower with a height of 1440 feet.

Dirk India gained the reputation to supply its POZZOCRETE to a number of outstanding structures like Burj Khalifa, Dubai, (the currently tallest building of the world) , Al Hamra Tower, Kuwait, The Pearl , Qatar, Financial Harbour, Bahrain, only to mention a few.

To enhance High Performance Concrete DIRK India recently developed POZZOCRETE 100 which is designed to replace silica fumes (microsilica) especially to cater for these type of structures.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), India, became the Nobel Peace Prize laureate together with the former American Vice President Al Gore for laying foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract climate changes. This panel in collaboration with TERI (Tata Energy and Resources Institute) issued in 2006 a book containing 25 best projects for corporate environmental responsibility in India - the DIRK Pozzocrete plant at Nashik was selected as one of those twenty five project.
