On 25th October 2010 DIRK India took delivery of 20 brand new container vehicles for the inland transport of containers from the Nashik POZZOCRETE plant to the Mumbai ports. The dedicated fleet under the control of the DIRK India Export Department will allow DIRK to react more quickly to the constant schedule changes of ships and the operational situation within the Mumbai port.
At the Nashik POZZOCRETE plant currently 70 bulkers (road tankers) are in exclusive service to provide supplies to the main inland customer base in Mumbai and Pune.
At the same time 5 special body trucks were put on service by Dirk POZZOCRETE (MP) Ltd to bring raw ash from Sarni Thermal Power Station to the new POZZOCRETE plant at Mandideep near Bhopal.
