After completion of the current training course at the Maharashtra Fly Ash Information Centre Mr. Mukund Joshi is leaving Dirk India for an exiting new career outside India. During the inauguration of the new research establishment at the Nashik POZZOCRETE plant Mr. Dirk thanked Mukund for his excellent services not only to Dirk India, but to the mission of Fly Ash recycling at large. He handed over a Certificate establishing him as "Fellow of the Fly Ash Information Centre". This is the first Fellowship awarded by the Institute.
Mukund Joshi joined Dirk India more or less five years ago and was entrusted with the work to promote the use of Fly Ash in structural concrete. After a few years he was promoted to Director Product Technology, now incorporating the development work for new fly ash products for the Asian market. Mukund gained a lot of friends in the industry and a high reputation of a knowledge pool in the specialized field of Fly Ash Research. On foundation of the Maharashtra Fly Ash Information Centre he became its first Director.
Whilst handing over the Fellowship Certificate to Mukund, Mr. Dirk said that the acceptance of the Fellowship status comes with the commitment to deliver once a year a presentation during one of the Institutes events. Mukund was happy to promise to do this. This was follwoed by a big applause of the audience of invited dignities and the course delegates.
