More than 300 people involved in producing POZZOCRETE

May 13, 2007

The DIRK Nashik POZZOCRETE plant is operated by a team of more than 300 people whose livelyhood is dependant on the positive performance of DIRK India Private Ltd. In so far the Nashik recycling project developed as a wealth generator for the local staff community. The team is proud to produce the first quality assured Fly Ash product in India.

Mr. Dirk and Mrs. Dirk see it as their welcomed duties to attend private functions held by the staff celebrating important events in their familiy life. It is important all over the world but especially in India to cultivate a "family community" among all members of staff.

Recently the son of Mr. Yogesh Joshi celebrated his Upanayana, a festivity attended by many company members and Mr. and Mrs. Dirk. In the life of a Hindu boy of the three communities, namely Brahmins, Kshatriyas, and Vysyas, Upanayana marks the beginning of Brahmacharya Ashrama which is set apart for the study of Vedas; this stage is said to be the second birth for him. Mere wearing of a sacred thread initiated on the Upanayana day does not make him a real Brahmacharin.

Mr. Yogesh S. Joshi is in charge for the administration of the Nashik Plant and employed with DIRK since September 2000. He has shown great talent and discipline in developing the IT based plant control.
