DIRK POZZOCRETE (MP) Ltd completed its first plant at Mandideep near Bhopal

The Mandideep plant is designed to produce quality assured POZZOCRETE 83, 63 and 60 in 30 kg paper bags, 1 ton big bags and allow the provision of these POZZOCRETE grades to be supplied in 15 - 25 MT bulker. The big bags are produced for containerized export using the local railway container terminal from Concor. The new plant has a capacity to handle 200-300 MT of fly ash per day.   Mr. Georg Dirk (chairman of the international DIRK Group) stated on a press briefing: Dirk POZZOCRETE (MP) Ltd purchased sufficient land to allow for a full blown up classification plant which they want to add later on once the markets have been developed. Additionally they have erected the infra structure which will allow also to produce TECfil products.

The technical DIRK team has been on the road demonstrating to the construction and Readymix industry the advantages of using quality assured fly ash products. A number of new projects have started in the region taking advantage of the local availability of POZZOCRETE products.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), India, became the Nobel Peace Prize laureate together with the former American Vice President Al Gore for laying foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract climate changes. This panel in collaboration with TERI (Tata Energy and Resources Institute) issued in 2006 a book containing 25 best projects for corporate environmental responsibility in India - the DIRK Pozzocrete plant at Nashik was selected as one of those twenty five project.
