New groundbreaking technology for sewage sludge reduction, a contribution to the world climate issue.
DIRK European Holdings Ltd., UK signs sole distribution agreement with RDP Technologies Inc. Philadelphia
Power Ultrasound is able to disintegrate sewage and industrial waste water sludges. The result is a reduction of sludge quantities up 40%, conversion of sewage sludge into bio-gas a source of renewable energy. DIRK Power Ultrasound substantially reduces the cost of waste water treatment.
This new technology was developed by a leading German research Institution (Fraunhofer Institute, Dresden) in cooperation with Dr. Hielscher, Berlin a world leading supplier of Ultrasound equipment. Currently eight sewage treatment works have adopted the technology and are saving up to $ 1,000,000 a year.
During WEFTEC Dirk European Holding Ltd is introducing the technology to the USA.
Today a sole distribution agreement for the Ultrasound technology was signed between DIRK European Holdings Ltd and RDP Technologies Inc., Philadelphia.
The additional production of biogas from sewage sludge could produce a stunning 240 million cubic meters of gas or 480 GWh per year of green electricity, a valuable contribution to the world climate issue.
